Development Works at The Manor Fields Adare

The Manor Fields Adare, along with the support of the Department of Sports, Tourism and Transport, Sports Capital Programme, are delighted to announce that work will soon get underway to upgrade, drain and level our grass playing area.

When completed, this will double the amount of the available grass playing area and will be of huge benefit to all the clubs using the Manor Fields for coaching and matches. There will be some short term impact, on grass pitch availability as this work progresses and the new surface takes root.

This new playing area will mean we can double the capacity for for our local clubs particularly for Adare Camogie Club and Adare Ladies Gaelic Football Team, for whom the Manor Fields is their home venue.

This will also allow Adare United and Adare GAA much more space for training and matches alleviating pressure on their home pitches

Built into the works will be allowances for Limerick Cricket Club, who have their home at The Manor Fields, to upgrade with a new artificial crease and space for a number of grass creases over the coming years.
